To BRONZE or not to bronzee --- GAB Sweden.
Creations in bronze have fascinated humans throughout history. One of the mightiest and most majestic mediums an artist can create in, this metal has an eternal feeling and a substantative quality that is unique on earth. If I have any luck I will acquire a fine vase, something like the awesome GAB Sweden vase pictured here. Having owned lots of GAB and Just Andersson as well as many other obscure or unmarled piece, I would really enjoy to have a serious collectible like a GAB Sweden piece. The admiration can continue for days, weeks, months or even years before one may feel it's time to have a different piece in a particular place. Tomorrow is the big day, the big semi-weekly auction here in Skane, and the bidding should be fierce as the fall bidding season increases with frenzy. Well, I am wishing myself luck, time to get a nice, relaxing few hours of sleep before I have to break out the pen, pad and reading glasses and get to the big hall for the big event. I'll be dreaming of bronze, a bronze suntan of course after a day of surfing in California, in my dreams!
